Published in the Salina Journal on March 17, 2009 as a rebuttal to the column written by Roshana Ariel, where she responded to an survey showing people are flowing away from Word-centered worship - and that Christianity is constantly evolving.

Where there's smoke . . .

Yesterday - a reflection on growing up in rural Saline County in the 1960's.. Appeared in the Salina Journal in the Fall of 2008.

Published in the Salina Journal on March 28, 2009 as a followup regarding Roshana Ariel's column, where she criticized Word-based churches for believing in a cruel God who will judge those who reject the Gospel.
